	Knutsford Flower Club win First Prize at Cheshire Show Knutsford’s entry in the club class “Designed By” at Cheshire County Show 2008 was based on the Alnwick Gardens in Northumberland, home of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland. It depicted the Grand Cascade, which is one of the main features at Alnwick. The exhibit was designed by the club President Pat Bannister and staged by Pat and fellow member Lynne Clark.
			Pat also won third prize in the class entitled “Compost Heap”		Claire Roberts gained a Highly Commended award in the class “Oasis of Calm” We congratulate them all on their success.
	Cheshire Area of NAFAS Area Show held at Clonta Opera Theatre-May 2008 "On with the Show" Members from the club entered the class entitled “ Curtain Up” and succeeded in winning First, Second & Third prize and a Very Highly Commended Award. In the class entitled "Set the Scene" the club entry gained a Highly Commended Award

	Arrangements by Ian Lloyd Who demonstrated his talents to the club in February this year.
	"South Pacific" & "Lion King" Just two of the stunning arrangements by Michael Handy at the open demonstration in September with his title "Centre Stage"
